Proposed Branch 100 By-Law changes to be voted on at the August 3, 2011 branch meeting at 7:30pm (an attempt was made
to Bold and Italic the changes but read carefully in case some were missed)
Article II, Section 2.The branch shall be called to order and eight members shall constitute a quorum; however, a lesser number can vote to
adjourn.

Article III, Section 3.No delegate elected to represent the Branch
at a State or National Convention shall participate in any branch funds allotted for such conventions unless he/she has attended
at least nine (9) full regular meetings in the year ending June 30th preceding the convention, as recorded in the
book kept by the Sergeant-at-Arms. In the case of scheduling conflicts an elected delegate, except members
of the executive board, may substitute the stewards meeting one week prior to regular meeting, and sign an attendance
card and the book of attendance kept by the Sergeant-at-Arms, to complete his/her obligation of 9 meetings per year.
All delegates participating in funds must serve on committees, and each delegate shall be notified of the committee
they are to serve on, in writing, by letter from the Recording Secretary. The President, Vice-President,
Recording Secretary, Financial Secretary, Treasurer, and Health Benefits Representative shall by virtue of their office, be
declared an elected delegate.

of the members of this Branch. The Recording Secretary shall report the same at the next regular meeting.
The President shall keep a detailed statement of the same on file, and report to the Branch.

Those withdrawals shall be in the form of a check from the bank and the Financial Secretary shall submit monthly and
semiannual statements to the members.

Article VII, Section 8.The Trustee’s expense allowance shall be Forty-five Dollars ($45.00) per month and shall be
paid quarterly. A three (3) months forfeiture of allowance shall be imposed on the Trustee for each absence
from a semiannual Branch Book audit. This forfeiture may be lifted on approval of the Audit Committee.

shall be granted two (2) excused absences per year. Exceptions shall be granted because of unusual circumstances.

unless ordered by the Branch. Any member desiring to speak on a question shall arise in his/her place,
respectfully address his/her remarks to the Chair, confine his/her self to the question and avoid personalities.
If more than one member arises at the same time, the Chair shall decide who is entitled to the floor.
